Woodley Carnival, Saturday 13th June 2020 Cancelled

Following the latest COVID-19 information the Carnival Committee has made the decision to cancel this year’s Community Carnival on 13 June 2020. The committee is disappointed they will not be able to share the 60 year celebrations with you in June as planned, however, look forward to joining you for next years Carnival on Saturday 12 June.

Carnival Cancellation

The Carnival Committee has made the decision to cancel this year’s Community Carnival and all associated events. All purchased stalls, adverts and sponsorship packages will be refunded over the coming months.

The Woodley Community Carnival could not happen without the help of so many people who work tirelessly before, during and after the carnival to help us make it such a special day. We would like to say a massive thank you to our sponsors, advertisers and helpers without whom the carnival could not happen. Thank you for giving us your time and helping make the carnival such a fantastic event, you all know who you are!

Carnival afternoon is all about our community. Local groups provide a range of acts, shows and activities to suit all tastes, there is something for everyone. Plus we have a car, flower, dog and photographic show taking place on carnival day.

Our family-friendly evening concert is a popular part of the annual carnival and we have another great line up of bands. The music starts at 6.30pm and the evening ends with a firework finale. You can also enjoy the funfair, bar and food concessions.

The Woodley Carnival just wouldn't be the same without the Procession. Whether you take part or watch from the roadside the procession is alot of fun. Starting at 11am the procession will arrive at the Carnival at 1:30pm. Make sure you don't miss it!
